Giving Back Is a Blessing and an Honor.
Is Your Plan Helping Further Your Philanthropic Goals?
Being able to give back to the communities in which we live and work is a blessing we honor often. Through volunteer work, community leadership, or financial support, we are active in the following organizations:
Alex’s Lemonade Stand has a mission to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. The organization has helped fund more than 1,000 cutting-edge research projects at nearly 150 institutions.
The Christmas Box International charity works to prevent child abuse. They partner with local, national, and international groups to improve the quality of life for children, teens, and young adults who are victims of abuse, neglect, trafficking or are facing homelessness or other risks that no child should have to face.
The local Davis High School Mountain Bike Team provides an excellent outlet for high school youth to come together to enjoy the outdoors, maintain healthy and active lifestyles, and create community around shared values and doing what they love. As an avid mountain biker, our founder is heavily involved in supporting the team and its initiatives.
Kiva is an international nonprofit with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. More than 1.7 billion people around the world can’t access the financial services they need. Through Kiva, students can pay for tuition, women can start businesses, farmers are able to invest in equipment and families can afford needed emergency care.
Tech Charities collects, refurbishes, and distributes hundreds of computers each year to families and students in need. Partnering with other community organizations, their primary goal is to improve the quality of life for students and families in under-resourced communities. Our founder is an active member of the board of this great organization.
