For almost three decades, he has been assisting families and individuals along the Wasatch Front and nationwide in their pursuit of financial freedom and security. Gardner is married and the father of 6 children and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys any time spent with family, especially time on the bike, skis or in the mountains.
Coleman works closely with clients, as they acquire their wealth, to build a firm foundation for their growing portfolio. By identifying financial risk and helping create good savings strategies, Coleman has led his clients to financial planning success for over 10 years, beginning as an intern while acquiring a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Utah. He also obtained his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. He leads his client relationships with his core values of mutual respect, lifelong learning, effective listening and being a man of integrity. A native to Salt Lake, Coleman has planted his roots with his wife, Maegan, and their 2 children in Woods Cross. They are enthusiasts of all things Utah and can often be found enjoying Utah Jazz and University of Utah football games, or rocking out at a concert.

Brian helps clients build and grow their financial portfolio to create lifelong security. Brian understands the challenges we all face navigating the peaks and valleys of the markets and counsels clients on real world applications during all phases of financial planning. Brian began working with Cornerstone in May of 2004. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in business administration from the University of Utah. Brian has also earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) certifications. Brian resides in Farmington, UT with his wife and 4 children. He enjoys running and spending countless hours on the mountain bike with his kids.
Matt is great at listening to clients as they share about their lives, families, priorities, and goals. By connecting on a personal level, he can conduct financial conversation that are needed to customize plans and strategies for each client. He strives to provide each client with a pressure free, judgment free experience. Over 5 years ago, Matt chose to change careers after personal experiences that made him deeply understand the importance of having a trusted financial advisor. He strives to build strong, enduring relationships. Matt graduated from the Utah State with a Marketing degree and his MBA from Weber State University. He holds the appropriate licenses to provide each client with a tailored plan, to fit all needs. Matt, Nicole and their 3 children live in Kaysville. They are heavily involved in tennis. Matt never misses a match!
Lexie is adept at assessing clients risk needs and existing situations to build plans and policies that protect incomes, families, and future wealth. She plays an integral role in evaluating and determining clients Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care planning needs. With 15 years of experience, she has a deep understanding of holistic financial planning and the importance of incorporating all aspects of clients personal and financial life. She maintains her Accident Life and Health license as well as her 6 and 63 registrations. Lexie enjoys camping, travelling to the beach and exploring the mountains with her husband, Walt, and their two girls.
A degreed mathematician, Johnny leverages his meticulous analytical skills to create highly detailed financial plans. He deeply understands how a plan’s many variables interact to seamlessly guide our clients in reaching their goals. Johnny started his career with Northwestern Mutual as an intern while attending Dixie State University. In addition to earning a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, with an emphasis in business, he maintains Series 6, 63, and 7 registrations as well as his Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) certifications. Johnny enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and dog. You can find them searching for antler sheds, fishing, 4-wheeling, or watching movies.
Erin is committed to providing exceptional service to each of our clients. Over the past 10 years she has supported multiple teams in every capacity but finds that she most admires working with clients to create and execute comprehensive financial plans so they can define, enjoy, and optimize financial independence. She brings a proactive planning focus to help create more confidence and joy around money. Erin enjoys giving our clients peace of mind that they have knowledgeable experts in their corner to help them with important, and often, complicated decisions. She holds her Accident Life and Health registration. Erin enjoys spending her time outdoors preferably at the beach or in the mountains. You can usually find her boating, kayaking, hiking, or ice fishing with her husband and three kids.
Daniel has generational experience in building and creating financial plans. At a very young age he learned the importance of developing smart financial habits and how to implement. He brings that expertise to clients by analyzing and creating plans and providing tools to track, build and preserve wealth. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2023 with a degree in English and maintains his Accident, Life and Health license. Daniel is actively working to obtain additional licenses and designations. He is married to Kathleen and lives in Salt Lake City. Together, they enjoy the outdoors and can be found hiking, biking, skiing and golfing.
Jennie uses firsthand experiences to relay the importance of financial planning to our clients. She recognizes the challenges some people face and uses this knowledge to plan and prepare others for all circumstances. She graduated from BYU with a major in English and a minor in editing. She resides in Farmington with her husband and 5 kids and has mastered the art of running a busy household while staying active. She even does some freelance writing.
You will often hear Lindsey described as a “people person”. With over 10 years in customer service, Lindsey works hard to provide clients with the most enjoyable experience as they implement and adjust their financial plans. It is important to her to build friendships by providing quick and knowledgeable responses. Lindsey holds her Accident Life and Health license and has been with Northwestern Mutual for over 5 years. She enjoys traveling and being outdoors with her husband, two daughters and dogs.
